There’s no “one-size-fits-all” policy for companies looking to influence their employees’ social-media interactions, media consultant Joshua-Michele Ross writes, but following a few simple guidelines can help companies come up with a policy that meets their needs. Management should set a positive example online, he writes, while creating policies that focus on employees’ job performance — not just their productivity.
